Once you arrive in Cusco you will realize that we have more than Machu Picchu Peru to explore, such as the Andes’ geography and extensive multi-cultural communities. In this program, we will show you the most important part of history, traditions and ancient archeology.
Upon your arrival at Lima airport, our staff will be waiting to take you to the hotel. We will drive 45 minutes to the hotel and provide you with all the information for your tour. Once we get to the hotel in Miraflores you can check in and relax for the evening.
At 8:00 am we will pick you up from the hotel and start our tour at the Larco Museum, the largest museum in South America, where you can discover Pre-Columbian history. You will have lunch at the museum and enjoy Peruvian gastronomy. After lunch, we will drive 1 hour to the airport for an afternoon flight to Cusco that takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Cusco, the capital of the ancient civilization, you can have a late afternoon dinner at your leisure and check in to the hotel for the night.
We will begin our tour at 9:00 am. We will begin the day by heading 6 kilometers out of town to Saqsayhuaman. There you will learn about the history of the magnificent archeological site before we continue the tour to Qenqo Spiritual Mortuary. On our way back to Cusco we will stop at the greatest lookout of Cusco City, the White Christ viewpoint. Once we get back to Cusco you can visit the Basilica Cathedral and the Qorikancha Sun Temple. You will have the rest of the evening to relax.
We will start our tour at 8:00 am by driving 30 minutes from Cusco to the Alpaca farmland located in the heart of the Andes. There you will learn about the ancient textile traditions. After we will continue our tour to Pisac Archeological site and Pisac colorful market. We will have a buffet lunch served at a restaurant in the middle of the Sacred Valley. After lunch, we will head back to the hotel.
You will have time to relax in the morning at the hotel before we start our tour to Ollantaytambo archeological site. There we will explore the great Inca Monument and fortress, and the living museum established by UNESCO in 1983. After we will board the train from the Ollantaytambo train station for a 2-hour train ride from the Highland to the Cloud Forest. Once we arrive in Machu Picchu town, we will drop the luggage off at the hotel and continue our tour by taking a 30-minute shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. We will spend the afternoon exploring Machu Picchu then we will head back to the hotel for the night.
In the morning we will go back to Machu Picchu to continue the tour. You will have the option to hike to the Sun Gate, the Inca Bridge, Huayna Picchu, or Machu Picchu Mountain based on availability. After spending the morning exploring Machu Picchu we will head back to Machu Picchu town for lunch at Indio Feliz restaurant. Following lunch, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo and take private transportation arriving back to Cusco at approximately 8:00 pm.
The tour starts at 6:30 am, we will pick you up at your accommodation and take a private shuttle bus to the bus station. We will travel 8 hours by bus with bathroom and service onboard through the highlands to Puno with 4 stops at different archaeological sites. We will stop for lunch on the way and arrive in Puno at 5:00 pm and check into the hotel overlooking Lake Titi Caca. There you can enjoy the sunset and relax in the evening.
At 6:30 am we will pick you up to start our tour and explore the most incredible, highest, and navigable lake in the world. We will visit the Floating Islands and stop for lunch on the Taquile Island where you can also enjoy the local dances and traditions. In the late afternoon, we will return to the hotel where you enjoy another night of sunset.
At 7:00 am we will begin our new adventure for the day by driving for 6 hours over the Andes in our private transportation. During the drive, we will make a few stops along the way and you will be able to take in the breathtaking views, the flora and fauna, and see wild Vicuñas. Upon arriving at La Calera, near the Colca Canyon, we will head to El Refugio hotel where you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the volcanic hot springs and thermal baths and have lunch and dinner at your leisure.
Our day will begin at 7:00 am with a twenty-minute drive to Colca Canyon where we will spend 2 hours at Cruz Del Condor taking in the views of the deepest canyon in the world and watching condors fly. After the tour we will start the drive to Arequipa, the white city, which is surrounded by 4 volcanoes where you will check in to your hotel with amazing views of the city and relax for the night.
At 8:00 am we will pick you along with your luggage up and start the tour of the city. We will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery and learn the interesting history of the city. After the tour at midday, we will drive to the airport to fly back to Lima where you can connect to your international flight.
